At Maximize our use of pilates is based on physiotherapy and movement analysis and can be adapted for all levels of fitness, age and body types.

The secret to a healthy spine is good back musculature, achieved through body awareness and regular correct exercise. Pilates will tone, strengthen and condition your muscles and enhance your overall well being. It will improve your posture, core stability, mobility and flexibility to effectively energize your body.

Our sessions include a combination of

  • floor routines,
  • physio-balls,
  • pilates bands and
  • pilates reformers.

Sports specific skills from beginners to elite are catered for, with our small classes and one on one sessions are available. Pilates is a great compliment to any injury rehabilitation program or fitness routine.

Massage

At Maximize our highly skilled and professional massage therapists provide remedial and relaxing massage treatments to help you reduce stress and improve your wellbeing.

We offer a variety of remedial techniques - including Swedish, deep tissue and trigger point therapy to relieve tension headaches, reduce muscle pain and increase circulation of the blood and lymph throughout your entire body.

Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is a form of physiotherapy or therapeutic exercise conducted in a heated pool under the supervision of a physiotherapist.  The major benefit of hydrotherapy is being able to exercise while the water takes weight bearing load off joints and provides resistance to movements.  Hydrotherapy sessions are available at our Macgregor clinic as goup or one on one sessions.
