Leanne graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Queensland in 1990. Since graduation, Leanne has gained extensive musculoskeletal experience working in both hospital and private practice. She has a keen personal interest in all sports, particularly soccer and netball and has enjoyed working with many different sporting teams over the years.
At Maximize Physiotherapy, Leanne incorporates a very "hands on" approach when treating clients and is passionate about teaching long term self-management skills. Leanne also runs our biweekly hydrotherapy classes.
With an undergraduate degrees in Human Movement Studies and Physiotherapy, Chris has an extensive knowledge of injury management, health and wellness. Chris has a special interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy where he combines hands on treatment techniques with effective exercise rehabilitation. Chris joined the team at Maximize health in 2008. Chris brings to Maximize a passion to help people get back on track following an injury or simply to improve their overall health status. Chris has worked with sporting teams in rugby union, hockey and snowboarding. Outside of work, Chris enjoys cycling, running and nice glass of red wine (everything in moderation).
Shannon has been part of the Maximize team since completing her undergraduate physiotherapy at University of Queensland. Having come from an athletic background, Shannon brings to the team her personal experience with injury rehabilitation and self management.
Prior to joining Maximize, Shannon worked briefly in a rural hospital before traveklling overseas. Currently working as the physiotherapist for the Australian University Rugby League and Sunnybank Rugby Union Club, Shannon also has a special interest in workplace rehabilitation, exercise therapy and empowering people toward self-management.

Karlee has completed her Diploma of Remedial massage, along with a Certificate IV in Swedish massage. Since completion of these, she has thoroughly enjoyed helping many of her clients with their neck, shoulder and headache tension, along with their lower back and leg pain. She has been in the massage industry for 3 years and has worked for maximize health at Macgregor since May 2011.
Karlee uses a variety of relaxing and loosening techniques to tailor massage treatments to each individual patient. Her clientele include many people, from athletes, stressed office workers and parents, to pregnant mums to be and the dad that supports them.
At Maximize, Karlee will work with you to manage your condition, and provide a massage that is perfect for you.
Karen joined the Maximize Health team in 1998 (then known as Club BJ Physio). Throughout her 13 years (she is the longest serving Team Member) Karen has watched Maximize Health grow from one practice to three practices and has seen many changes for the better over the years. Karen is the Area Maximizer/Practice Maximizer (Macgregor) which includes an array of duties. One of her joys at Maximize is the daily birthday calls to clients and staff. Another is trying to keep the physio’s in line. In her spare time, Karen likes to read, is learning to play tennis and spending time with her 5 grandchildren.
