Erin Smyth

Erin graduated from the uni of Qld in 1998. She has worked at the Australian Institute of sport and English institute of sport. She understands that everyone is unique and treatment needs to be individual.She has acquired many skills such as manual therapy , acupuncture and Pilates to optimize injury management , Erin has specializes in ankle injuries, low back pain and elbow injuries. Erin also works as Physiotherapist for Rowing Australia, Hockey Queensland and the Queensland Academy of Sport.

 

Dana Vukovic

After graduating in 1997 with a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy, Dana has continued training to add to her experience in acupuncture, sports physio, chronic whiplash, neck and jaw conditions. Dana has a passion for biomechanics and the analysis of muscle function and posture, and an affinity for manual therapy and specific exercise prescription.

Dana is an owner / director at Coopers Plains and has worked with local sporting teams predominantly netball and tennis, but also AFL, rugby, basketball, marathon runners and triathletes.

Dana has previous experience in private practice in London, working with high profile New York & London marathon runners, and the Queens lawn Tennis Club.

Celia Murphy

Celia completed degrees in both Human Movements Studies Majoring in Exercise Physiology & Physiotherapy. Since graduating she has worked in both the public & private sectors in Brisbane &  Cairns. Celia has special interests in manual therapy, orthopaedic rehabiltation, Pilates , hydrotherapy & Exercise Perscriptionion. Celia conducts individual hydrotherapy sessions & group sessions. She understands the need to rebilatate the individual from intitial injury to normal functioning. Celia is passionate about helping each individual reach their full potential.

Karly Montogomery

Karly has completed both Physiotherapy & Human Movement degrees. As a  new graduate She has Interests in musculoskeletal, neurological and paediatric physiotherapy.  She strongly believes in the benefits of exercise and helping individuals reach their fullest potential and Goals.
 

Mike Ravenwood 

Mike graduated in 2007 from the University of Otago and after working three and half years of working in a private sports clinic has moved to Australia. He has special interest in contact sports.

Rachel McLean

Rachel graduated from Salford University (UK) in 2008 completing her Bsc Degree in Complementary Therapies in Practice and Diploma in Sports Massage. After graduating Rachel worked in a small practice in the Uk as the Remedial Therapist before moving over to Australia. Rachel specialises in deep tissue massage, cupping, lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, cupping and the relaxing hot stone massage. Rachel has a great interest in sports, Rugby, netball and a keen runner taking part in half marathons.

Aaron has a passion to help other people with feet or lower leg issues. He studied to qualify as a Podiatrist and opened FootFactor Podiatry. He's so enthusiastic about his career and helping others, he's recently completed his Master's Degree and is an active member of the Australian Academy of sports Podiatric Medicine, Queensland Sports Podiatry Group and Paediatrics Interest Group.
 
Aaron’s professional passion lies in two main areas. 
  The first is treating sports related injuries and complaints. His own sporting background provides him with a solid understanding of the physical stresses and injuries which many sports people endure. 
  The second lies with treating children. Early in his career Aaron gained 12 months valuable experience working with a leading paediatric podiatrist and learned to diagnose and treat a range of issues unique to childhood growing phases. This special knowledge has enabled him to identify and correct problems at an early age which otherwise could effect normal growth and hinder physical performance.
Aaron also worked for a while in an Orthotic Laboratory and is highly skilled at designing and manufacturing orthotic products to aid correction of a range of issues.

 Jo Lang

Jo has been with Maximize Health  for 4 years, starting out as a receptionist  at another branch , she comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and exceptional customer service.
