Sunnybank Dragons and Easts Tigers will be playing for bragging rights of the hotly contested Maximize Cup and Maximize Shield on the 19th June 2010.

The Maximize Cup will be presented to the winner of the Premier Grade and the Maximize Shield will be presentedto the winner of the Premier Colts.    The Maximize Cup and Maximize Shield were initiated in 2009 out of a desire to recognise the large pool of rugby talent in, and the intense rivalry between, Sunnybank Dragons Rugby Union Club and Easts Tigers Rugby Union Club.

Secondly, the sponsors of the event and the directors of Maximize Health, Sean McCoola and Mark Stokes, wanted to help nurture the rugby talent and competitive nature between the two clubs.

Thirdly, Maximize Health values most highly the health of the young men and women of Sunnybank and Easts, and all those within the communities.  To keep this value of health at the forefront, the event proudly supports an awareness raising campaign for beyondblue: the national depression initiative. The third aim of this event is to help beyondblue raise awareness of issues associated with depression, anxiety and related substance misuse disorders.

Maximize Health hopes the increased awareness may direct those people in need within the two rugby communities towards the appropriate help.

Maximize Health provides physiotherapy and health related services to the community through four clinics on the southside of Brisbane. Maximize Health Macgregor provides sponsorship, onfield injury management and rehabilitation services for the Sunnybank Dragons. Maximize Health Camp Hill provides the same important services for Easts Tigers.
